Join award-winning flamenco guitarist Samuel Moore for an intimate evening recital at The Garlic Farm.

You can join us for dinner before the concert at any time from 18:00. For this event, rather than booking at ticket, you book a table as the venue is cabaret-style, and order from the evening menu, which includes light bites.

Welcome to Wight Proms Wednesdays! We would like to bring you a bit of the Wight Proms throughout the year and not just in August, and so we launched this lunchtime and evening concert series. Taking place at 12:30 and 19:30 on Wednesdays and both lasting 40 minutes.

SAMUEL MOORE

Hailed as “a fantastic flamenco guitarist” (BBC Radio 3) and winner of the Vienna International Music Competition (2025) and the Manhattan International Music Competition (2023), Samuel Moore is fast establishing himself as one of the leading musicians of his generation. Since 2007 he has performed in venues across the UK, Europe, and North America. Solo performance highlights include prestigious concert halls such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and intimate venues such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.

When not on tour or recording, Samuel enjoys passing on his musical knowledge through teaching. He is the author of the ‘Flamenco Guitar Compás Essentials’ book series and teaches private students each week via his online music school.

Samuel learnt his craft as a one-to-one student of the world-renowned flamenco guitarists: Juan Martín, Grisha Goryachev and Dennis Koster. He has also attended workshops led by Paco Peña. Samuel is an alumnus of Leeds Conservatoire, class of 2013.
