Eight Voices, One Stage brings all eight Pond Lily Project artists in residence and artist mentors together for one special concert celebrating a year of original music, collaboration, mentorship, recording, and community.

 

Expect an evening of original songs, individual performances, unexpected collaborations, and the warmth and spontaneity that have defined the Pond Lily Project.

Eight Voices, One Stage is the evening finale of Spirit & Song, a full day of music, mediumship and energy healing, local history, art and photography, and community connection at the Shea Theater.

 

The daytime events begin at 11 a.m., and several are free and open to the public.

Psychic Medium Fair

 

11 a.m.–4 p.m. | $30 per 25-minute session

 

Spend the afternoon with experienced practitioners offering mediumship and psychic readings, Reiki, energy healing, channeling, tarot, and other spiritual modalities.

 

Advance appointments are encouraged. Walk-ins will also be welcome as availability allows.

Explore an exhibit connecting the creative, spiritual, and community history of Lake Pleasant with the Pond Lily Project.

 

The exhibit includes historic Lake Pleasant photographs and postcards, photography of the village by Lake Pleasant residents, and Pond Lily Project artist portraits and photography by Susan Paquet Photography.

The Pond Lily Project

 

The Pond Lily Project began with a simple question:

 

What becomes possible when musicians are given room to create, connect, and grow together?

 

Over the past year, the project has brought together five artists in residence and three artist mentors through Jam in the Round, the Songwriter Development Circle, the Voices in the Village monthly open mic, artist mentorship and peer collaboration, professional recording sessions, artist photography, professional-development workshops, and live performance opportunities.

 

Together, these programs have created an authentic, open, and co-creative space centered on original music.

 

The purpose has not simply been to produce individual songs or performances. It has been to build relationships, share knowledge and resources, encourage artistic development, and create positive waves of energy and connection that continue moving outward into the community.

 

The Pond Lily Project has been funded in large part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Montague Cultural Council.

 

Additional workshops for independent musicians are planned for November, with sessions focused on recording technology, booking and touring, and mindful music marketing, branding, and publicity.

 

 

Spirit & Song is a fundraiser benefiting the community mission, outreach, and programming of The National Spiritual Alliance.

 

Funds raised help support community arts and music programming, spiritual and educational programs, community outreach and partnerships, opportunities for spiritual and personal inquiry, and the continued stewardship of TNSA’s historic, more than 100-year-old home in Lake Pleasant, Massachusetts.

Tickets for Eight Voices, One Stage are offered on a sliding contribution scale of $20–$100+, with a $20 minimum.

 

Choose the contribution level that feels right for you. Contributions above the minimum help TNSA keep community programming accessible, care for its historic home, Thompson Temple, and continue developing arts, music, educational, and spiritual programming.
