Orienteering: Where Am I? Moderate-Arduous/Indoors-Outdoors

This session will prepare you to follow an “orange” level permanent orienteering course. Maybe you want to refresh your skills in compass use and map reading or maybe you want to challenge yourself in something different - either way, this session can help you achieve your goal! We’ll be covering map symbols, cardinal directions, distance, pacing, orienting a map with a compass, topographic features and course strategy. Pre-requisites - participants should have basic compass and map reading skills.
