Step into the captivating world of filmmaking as you embark on creating your very own short film facilitated by Filmbites Screen Academy!

With no prior experience needed, this course will guide you through the stages of movie production. From crafting scripts to understanding set processes, as well as using camera, lighting and audio equipment, you’ll gain practical skills in filmmaking with confidence. 

Workshops will be located at:
The Youth Room
Inside Heathridge Community Centre, Corner of Siren Road and Sail Terrace, Perth Western Australia 6027

Registration, entry requirements and what to bring:

Step 1 – Please note*: before completing the registration form: ensure the participant is within the age range specified above prior to following the payment process. *Refunds will not be available for incorrect bookings. 

Step 2 – Make sure the participant has completed the Youth Development Membership Form.

Step 3 – After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Your ticket - can be printed or displayed on a smartphone on arrival.

Cancellations and Refunds:

A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. In the event of cancellations relating to weather, safety or unforeseen circumstances, fees may not be refundable.

For general non-attendance: Individual refunds will only be given if a medical certificate is presented to the City prior to the event. If the City is not informed prior to the event taking place, then refunds will not be issued. No other credits will be given.
