UNWITNESSED: The Search for Identity After Leaving a Cult a BFF 2026 Free Event

It’s BFF 2026, the 11th Annual BFF Binge Fringe Festival of FREE Theatre, October 13 through November 20, the only FREE Fringe Festival in the nation, offering 37 in-person plays, workshops and family-oriented events, presenting:

The story of Michael's life as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and the difficulty he experienced leaving the religion to discover his authentic identity. The show is designed to provide a brief education on high control groups (cults) as well as the serious real life issues faced by current and former members. It discusses the dangers of living an imposed identity created by any group exerting too much influence over members' lives. The hopeful message of self discovery and expression in UNWITNESSED relates to every audience. Written & Performed by Michael Lovestrong.
