Trio Bohémo

Trio Bohémo was here in fall of 2024, and our chamber music audience has repeatedly asked when we will have them back. Their musicality and mastery were so impressive and they filled the hall with their enthusiasm and joy; that performance was one for the ages. Based in Prague, Trio Bohémo (Matouš Pěruška, violin; Kristina Vocetková, cello; and Jan Vojtek, piano) has swiftly emerged as a force on the international chamber music scene. Within just five years, the ensemble has garnered prestigious accolades including First Prize and the Audience Prize at the International Joseph Haydn Competition in Vienna. Their program for us will be Dvořák: Piano Trio No. 4 in e minor “Dumky;” Jan Vičar: Cycle of Folk Songs “From Moravia;” and Brahms: Piano Trio No. 1 in B-Major, op. 8.
