The Perfect Union Book Club January 2027

Fanny Arabella Hayes Platt had a deep love of reading. She often wrote to her brother, President Rutherford B. Hayes about what she was reading and what she thought of it.

The Perfect Union is a book club dedicated to reading romance books that include themes close to Fanny, such as mental health, parenthood, gender expectations and the time period she lived.

Meetings will be the second Wednesday of the month every other month, locations swapping between the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums and our partner, Pan Yan Bookstore in Tiffin.

The second meeting will be January 13, 2027 @ 6pm at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums to discuss Good Spirits by B.K. Borison.
