“What kind of town is this at all? Brothers fighting and lasses peddling booze and two fecking murderers on the loose!”
-    The Lonesome West, Act One

Valene & Coleman are a modern-day Cain & Abel. The two brothers live alone in their father’s house after his recent death and find it impossible to co-exist without massive and violent disputes over the most mundane and innocent of topics. Only Father Welsh, the  local priest, in a more or less permanent state of crisis over his Catholic faith, is prepared to reconcile the two before their petty squabbling spirals into vicious and bloody carnage.

The Lonesome West was first presented in London as a Druid Theatre and Royal Court co-production in 1997 and received several Tony Award nominations on Broadway. The play’s high energy performances, broad physical comedy, and themes of forgiveness and redemption make it an outlandish and irreverent PG-13 Holiday show for the whole family!
