TARA CANNISTRACI

TARA CANNISTRACI is an Italian-American comedian, actress, and writer from the Bronx, New York, whose talents have lit up the stage, television, film, and even centerfield as the scoreboard host for the New York Yankees. She wrote for and appeared in SNY’s Emmy award-winning “Oh Yeah,” co-produced and starred in We Stand Comedy’s multi award-winning short film “The Chart,” and co-hosts the Chazz Palminteri Show podcast. Her comedy album, “I’m Talkin’ Here,” is a regular on Sirius XM, and her online following grew from sharing the words and phrases she grew up hearing in her New York Italian neighborhood.

Tara is now on her second national tour, the Boroughbred Tour, following a 2025 run that came after opening for Josh Wolf, Joey Diaz, and Vic DiBitetto. This year she has also opened select dates on Jo Koy’s Just Being Koy Tour. Her YouTube series “Boroughbreds” takes her on-the-street interviews across the New York boroughs, and her solo podcast “Cawfee Tawk” brings her honest, unfiltered take to listeners every week. Her wit and authenticity win over crowds across the U.S. and Canada.

Tara brings that same big New York appetite to Comix Roadhouse, and the kitchen is ready for it. The venue earned Connecticut Magazine’s 2026 Best of Connecticut statewide win for Best Casino Casual Dining, along with OpenTable’s 2026 Diners’ Choice Award, so come early, grab dinner, and settle in for the show.
