Synchronicity Theatre: And Then They Came For Me

SYNCHRONICITY THEATRE PRESENTS

AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME: REMEMBERING THE WORLD OF ANNE FRANK, by James Still

Experience a powerful and unforgettable theatrical journey that brings history to life for a new generation.

And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank is a moving multimedia production that weaves videotaped testimony from Eva Schloss and Ed Silverberg, childhood friends of Anne Frank and Holocaust survivors, with live performances by professional actors portraying their experiences on stage.

For 29 years, this acclaimed production was performed annually on tour by Georgia Ensemble Theatre, reaching generations of students and families with its deeply personal account of life during the Holocaust. Now, Synchronicity Theatre carries this important legacy forward, ensuring that these remarkable stories of courage, survival, and remembrance continue to be heard.

The MJCCA is proud to host the kickoff of Synchronicity Theatre’s 2027 tour of this extraordinary production. At a time when firsthand Holocaust testimony is becoming increasingly rare, And Then They Came for Me offers audiences an especially meaningful opportunity to connect with history through the voices of those who lived it.

Recommended for students in 5th grade and older.
