About The Belly Room
Hidden on our second floor, the Belly Room has been a testing ground for the best developing comedians over the last four decades. Not only have great comedy voices been discovered in this room but some of your favorite shows and podcasts got their start on this tiny but powerful stage. Built by Yakov Smirnoff and his father, the Belly Room is many comics' first home while they work their way up at The Store.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.

Harland Williams
Comedian and actor Harland Williams is known the world over for his hilarious movie roles and outlandish stand-up and sketch comedy routines.nnWilliams was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Lorraine Mary (O’Donnell), a social worker, and John Reesor Williams, a lawyer who served in the Ontario legislature. Williams has starred in numerous unforgettable roles such as the pee-drinking cop in “Dumb and Dumber”, the loveable horse-killing stoner, Kenny in “Half Baked”, the hitchhiking serial killer in “There’s Something About Mary”, the silent motorcycle stud Slater, in “Superstar”, the goof-ball astronaut Fred Z. Randall in “Rocketman,” the whale-calling Sonar in “Down Periscope”, and Robert/Roberta in the world of “Sorority Boys.”nnWilliams is also seen regularly on “Late Night with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brian.” He has done solo stand-up comedy specials for HBO, Comedy Central, CTV, and CBC. In addition to his on-screen roles, Williams has provided voices for several animated productions including “Robots” and is also an accomplished author and illustrator of his own series of children’s books involving a little brontosaurus named Lickety Split.
Erik Griffin
A towering force of comedy, Erik Griffin is most recognizable as the mustachioed Montez Walker on the hit Comedy Central series WORKAHOLICS, which recently wrapped its seventh and final season. Griffin will next starred as a series regular in Showtime’s dark-comedy series I’M DYING UP HERE . Based on the book by former L.A. Times writer William Knoedelseder, the fictionalized series is set in the celebrated yet infamous L.A. stand-up comedy scene of the '70s, and co-stars Melissa Leo, Al Madrigal and Ari Graynor, under executive producer Jim Carrey. Griffin’s first hour-long comedy special, THE UGLY TRUTH, also air on Showtime. Previous television credits include a recurring role on the Starz! comedy BLUNT TALK with Patrick Stewart, Netflix’s ONE DAY AT A TIME, FX’s YOU’RE THE WORST, Fox’s BOB’S BURGERS, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and Nickelodeon’s HARVEY BREAKS.nn On the big screen, Griffin can be seen in Jake Szymanski’s MIKE & DAVE NEED WEDDING DATES and Kerem Sanga’s FIRST GIRL I LOVED.nn Distinguished as a nationally touring comedian who headlines comedy clubs and colleges nearly every weekend, Griffin’s comedy is immortalized on his debut comedy album, Technical Foul: Volume One, and his Comedy Central Presents half-hour stand-up special. Griffin started his career in comedy after making the decision in 2003 to quit his job and pursue comedy full-time. He first gained national exposure in Comedy Central’s LIVE AT GOTHAM, NBC’s LAST COMIC DRIVING, Showtime’s COMICS WITHOUT BORDERS, nationally syndicated COMICS UNLEASHED and performing on the ALMA Award-nominated PAYASO COMEDY SLAM on Showtime and Comedy Central networks.
Joanna Hausmann
Joanna is a Venezuelan-American comedian, writer and actor who gained popularity through her videos on YouTube and as head-writer/talent on Univision's digital platform Flama. Her viral creations have garnered over 200 million views and have been featured in places like CNN, NPR, and the BBC. Her biweekly show Joanna Rants collectively reached over 70 million views and has attracted an international fan club of people who claim she looks like British survivalist Bear Grylls. nnJoanna is currently writing for the revival of the hit comedy series “Phineas and Ferb.” She has written for shows including TruTV’s Tacoma FD (which recently hit Netflix’s top 10 list) and HBOMax’s comedy “Gordita Chronicles.” She was the headwriter and Co-Executive producer of Disney’s comedy “Hamster and Gretel.” She also co-wrote the satirical telenovela podcast “Princess of South Beach” which is currently being developed for television at Netflix. Hausmann is a correspondent on the three seasons Netflix's series Bill Nye Saves The World” and has also voiced several characters in animated series including Disney’s Milo Murphy's Law,” “Monster’s at Work,” “Hamster and Gretel,” “Phineas and Ferb” as well as Paramount+’s adult animated series “Harper House.” She has also narrated documentaries for NatGeo. Her commercial work ranges from AT&T, Ford Escape, Total by Verizon and she is currently the national voice of Wendy’s commercials. Joanna was also adjunct-lecturer at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism where she taught satirical comedy writing.nnHer work won her Best Comedian and Creator of the Year in Hispanicize's 2016 Tecla awards. She was also honored by the National Hispanic Media Coalition with the 2018 award for “Best Online Storyteller.” She’s was also named one of Hola! Magazines “Top 100 Latina Powerhouses” in 2022. In 2023, her show “Hamster & Gretel” received an Emmy for best storyboarding. nnAlthough (accidentally) born in the small town of Royal Leamington Spa in England, Joanna and her family are wholeheartedly from Caracas, Venezuela.
