RON TAYLOR

RON TAYLOR is a stand-up comedian from Detroit who rose to national prominence as the inaugural winner of Kevin Hart’s Netflix comedy competition series Funny AF. The Netflix home streaming audience and a judges’ panel that included Kevin Hart, Tom Segura, Nikki Glaser, Chelsea Handler, and Kumail Nanjiani voted him the winner, and the title earned him his own Netflix comedy special.

Before Funny AF, Taylor appeared on BET’s Apollo Live and Fox’s Laughs, and Bill Burr personally selected him to perform on Comedy Central’s stand-up showcase The Ringers. He tours the world and is a proud paid regular at the World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood and The Comedy Mothership in Austin, TX.

Taylor won Funny AF by popular vote, and Comix Roadhouse has plenty of votes of its own: Connecticut Magazine’s 2026 Best of Connecticut statewide win for Best Casino Casual Dining, along with OpenTable’s 2026 Diners’ Choice Award. Come early for dinner, stay for a Netflix winner.
