Join us on a nighttime adventure on Wednesday 23 September 2026 to find the cutest ecosystem engineers! Learn about why quenda are so much more than an adorable marsupial and help us to spot these furry little diggers in their natural habitat.
Hear from the Western Australian Gould League on quenda ecology, how to help support quenda in the suburbs, background on the annual Quenda Count and how to take part this year. Participants will then join our presenters on a quenda night stalk through Craigie Bushland.
Presented as part of the City’s Biodiversity Month program, this session is ideal for anyone with an interest in native wildlife, bushland management and natural area conservation.
This workshop is open to residents aged 8 years and over who are wanting to be involved in caring for our native environment.
Light catering and refreshments provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear long pants and enclosed shoes and bring a headtorch for the night time activity.
