This is where it all started. April 7th, 1972. This is the room where The Store became the home of American Comedy. Known for its intimate shows and late nights, The Original Room is the favorite space for super star comedians and after midnight heroes to test material, find their voices, and riff with the piano player.

Erik Griffin
A towering force of comedy, Erik Griffin is most recognizable as the mustachioed Montez Walker on the hit Comedy Central series WORKAHOLICS, which recently wrapped its seventh and final season. Griffin will next starred as a series regular in Showtime’s dark-comedy series I’M DYING UP HERE . Based on the book by former L.A. Times writer William Knoedelseder, the fictionalized series is set in the celebrated yet infamous L.A. stand-up comedy scene of the '70s, and co-stars Melissa Leo, Al Madrigal and Ari Graynor, under executive producer Jim Carrey. Griffin’s first hour-long comedy special, THE UGLY TRUTH, also air on Showtime. Previous television credits include a recurring role on the Starz! comedy BLUNT TALK with Patrick Stewart, Netflix’s ONE DAY AT A TIME, FX’s YOU’RE THE WORST, Fox’s BOB’S BURGERS, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and Nickelodeon’s HARVEY BREAKS.nn On the big screen, Griffin can be seen in Jake Szymanski’s MIKE & DAVE NEED WEDDING DATES and Kerem Sanga’s FIRST GIRL I LOVED.nn Distinguished as a nationally touring comedian who headlines comedy clubs and colleges nearly every weekend, Griffin’s comedy is immortalized on his debut comedy album, Technical Foul: Volume One, and his Comedy Central Presents half-hour stand-up special. Griffin started his career in comedy after making the decision in 2003 to quit his job and pursue comedy full-time. He first gained national exposure in Comedy Central’s LIVE AT GOTHAM, NBC’s LAST COMIC DRIVING, Showtime’s COMICS WITHOUT BORDERS, nationally syndicated COMICS UNLEASHED and performing on the ALMA Award-nominated PAYASO COMEDY SLAM on Showtime and Comedy Central networks.
Whitney Cummings
Whitney Cummings is a comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, entrepreneur, and host of the hit podcast “Good for You.” Launched in 2019, “Good For You” is self-produced and features conversations with Whitney’s friends, fellow comedians, and experts in a variety of fields, including neuroscience, veterinary medicine, and magic. Best known for creating and starring in the NBC series “Whitney,” Whitney is also the co-creator and co-writer of the syndicated Emmy-nominated CBS comedy series “2 Broke Girls.” She has appeared in numerous television shows, films, and stand-up specials, including her fifth stand up special, “Whitney Cummings: JOKES” which was released on Netflix in July 2022. On the big screen, Whitney was last seen in the Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun comedy “Good Mourning” and the Foo Fighters’ horror-comedy “Studio 666.” Other recent film credits include “How It Ends,” “The Opening Act,” and the forthcoming “At Midnight” from director Jonah Feingold. On television, Whitney will next be seen leading an episode of “Accused,” the forthcoming FOX/Sony TV anthology drama series from Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and David Shore. Whitney also recently received praise for her week-long guest hosting stint on “The Wendy Williams Show” in October 2021. Other notable TV appearances include “Tacoma FD,” “Workaholics,” “Crashing,” “Undateable,” and the Comedy Central Roasts, which have solidified her presence in comedy television. In 2017 she published her memoir titled “I’m Fine … And Other Lies.” That same year, Whitney made her directorial debut with the feature adaptation of Louann Brizendine’s best-seller, “The Female Brain.” Following the success of her sold out “Codependent Tour,” Whitney just wrapped the “Touch Me Tour,” her stand-up comedy theater tour spanning 75+ cities across North America. She can currently be seen on her “I Club You Tour” while working on material for a new theatre tour in 2023. Whitney’s new roast series on OFTV will premiere in early 2023 and will feature the celebrated roast format with a behind the scenes look at what is involved in crafting jokes in the writer’s room. Confirmed roastees of honor for the first two episodes of the series include Whitney Cummings and Bert Kreischer.
Adam Ray
Adam Ray currently plays the iconic role of Vince McMahon in YOUNG ROCK for NBC, the story of Dwanye “The Rock” Johson’s life. Ray most recently was seen in HACKS on HBOMAX, and starred in the indie comedy THE BELLMEN, also starring Thomas Lennon & Richard Kind. Ray also guest starred on last season of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT for Netflix, as well as season 2 of AMERICAN VANDAL. Ray can be seen in the upcoming PAM & TOMMY for Hulu, as well as GASLIT starring Julia Roberts and Sean Penn for STARZ. Ray was a regular on LIGHTS OUT with David Spade & currently on The Adam Carolla Show. Ray is best known from his work opposite Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig’s buddy cop comedy THE HEAT, as well as Feig’s SPY and the reboot of GHOSBUSTERS, in which he voiced the iconic character of SLIMER and played a supporting role as well. Adam co-hosted the comedy game show SEPARATION ANXIETY on TBS with comedian Iliza Schlesinger, and has guest-starred on 2 Broke Girls, Workaholics, Silicon Valley and HBO’s BALLERS. Adam was also a cast member in the reboot of the sketch comedy franchise MADtv for the CW, and played Joey McIntyre’s manager on the POP NETWORK show RETURN OF THE MAC. He has written for MTV’s PUNK’D, Adam Devine’s House Party, and the reboot of MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER. Ray headlines the top comedy clubs in the country, and has been featured on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, as well as Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central. Annie Lederman is your favorite comedian. A standup comic, podcaster, writer & actress. When she isn’t hosting her own podcasts she is usually talking with her friends on theirs. She can regularly be heard on THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE, TOUR MOMS HOUSE, THE CHURCH WITH JOEY DIAZ, WTF WITH MARC MARON, among many others. Most recently Annie can be seen featured in Showtime’s hit documentary miniseries THE COMEDY STORE alongside Jay Leno, David Letterman, Joe Rogan, and many other Comedy Store legends. Additionally, Annie has been seen or heard on all your favorite TV networks including Comedy Central ( LIGHTS OUT WITH DAVID SPADE & THIS IS NOT HAPPENING), MTV (GIRL CODE) , E! Zack’s distinctly original stories, filled with colorful characters and unexpected punchlines, have resonated with audiences of all backgrounds. As a storyteller, Zack shared one of his Moroccan family adventures on MTV’s Greatest Party Story Ever. As an actor, Zack has appeared in the Showtime series Shameless, as well as Night of the Living Karens, a viral comedy-horror series he created with comedian Richard Sarvate.
