About The Original Room
This is where it all started. April 7th, 1972. This is the room where The Store became the home of American Comedy. Known for its intimate shows and late nights, The Original Room is the favorite space for super star comedians and after midnight heroes to test material, find their voices, and riff with the piano player.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.

Harland Williams
Comedian and actor Harland Williams is known the world over for his hilarious movie roles and outlandish stand-up and sketch comedy routines.nnWilliams was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Lorraine Mary (O’Donnell), a social worker, and John Reesor Williams, a lawyer who served in the Ontario legislature. Williams has starred in numerous unforgettable roles such as the pee-drinking cop in “Dumb and Dumber”, the loveable horse-killing stoner, Kenny in “Half Baked”, the hitchhiking serial killer in “There’s Something About Mary”, the silent motorcycle stud Slater, in “Superstar”, the goof-ball astronaut Fred Z. Randall in “Rocketman,” the whale-calling Sonar in “Down Periscope”, and Robert/Roberta in the world of “Sorority Boys.”nnWilliams is also seen regularly on “Late Night with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brian.” He has done solo stand-up comedy specials for HBO, Comedy Central, CTV, and CBC. In addition to his on-screen roles, Williams has provided voices for several animated productions including “Robots” and is also an accomplished author and illustrator of his own series of children’s books involving a little brontosaurus named Lickety Split.
Whitney Cummings
Whitney Cummings is a comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, entrepreneur, and host of the hit podcast “Good for You.” Launched in 2019, “Good For You” is self-produced and features conversations with Whitney’s friends, fellow comedians, and experts in a variety of fields, including neuroscience, veterinary medicine, and magic. Best known for creating and starring in the NBC series “Whitney,” Whitney is also the co-creator and co-writer of the syndicated Emmy-nominated CBS comedy series “2 Broke Girls.” She has appeared in numerous television shows, films, and stand-up specials, including her fifth stand up special, “Whitney Cummings: JOKES” which was released on Netflix in July 2022. On the big screen, Whitney was last seen in the Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun comedy “Good Mourning” and the Foo Fighters’ horror-comedy “Studio 666.” Other recent film credits include “How It Ends,” “The Opening Act,” and the forthcoming “At Midnight” from director Jonah Feingold. On television, Whitney will next be seen leading an episode of “Accused,” the forthcoming FOX/Sony TV anthology drama series from Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and David Shore. Whitney also recently received praise for her week-long guest hosting stint on “The Wendy Williams Show” in October 2021. Other notable TV appearances include “Tacoma FD,” “Workaholics,” “Crashing,” “Undateable,” and the Comedy Central Roasts, which have solidified her presence in comedy television. In 2017 she published her memoir titled “I’m Fine … And Other Lies.” That same year, Whitney made her directorial debut with the feature adaptation of Louann Brizendine’s best-seller, “The Female Brain.” Following the success of her sold out “Codependent Tour,” Whitney just wrapped the “Touch Me Tour,” her stand-up comedy theater tour spanning 75+ cities across North America. She can currently be seen on her “I Club You Tour” while working on material for a new theatre tour in 2023. Whitney’s new roast series on OFTV will premiere in early 2023 and will feature the celebrated roast format with a behind the scenes look at what is involved in crafting jokes in the writer’s room. Confirmed roastees of honor for the first two episodes of the series include Whitney Cummings and Bert Kreischer.
Fahim Anwar
Fahim Anwar is a Los Angeles-based standup comedian, actor and writer. Off the momentum of his one hour special THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS, The New York Times listed Fahim as a Most Promising Future Star. He's appeared on CONAN, LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. His recent FILM/TV credits include WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, NEIGHBORS, DRUNK HISTORY, CARMICHAEL SHOW and SUPERIOR DONUTS to name a few. Fahim served as head writer and starred on a sketch show special for Comedy Central with his comedy group (GOATFACE) which includes Hasan Minhaj from THE DAILY SHOW. Off the success of the sketch show special, Fahim was named by Variety Magazine as one of 2019 Comics to Watch, and was invited to be a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast as well as WTF with Marc Maron.
Al Madrigal
Best known as the Senior Latino Correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Al Madrigal has made a name for himself in stand-up comedy, acting and as a writer. He stars in the movie Night School with Kevin Hart, The Way Back with Ben Affleck and the upcoming Morbius for SONY with Jared Leto. On the TV side, Al was a series regular and writer on Showtime’s I’m Dying Up Here and most recently worked as a writer, actor and producer on the CBS sitcom Broke. His critically acclaimed hour special, “Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy” premiered on Showtime in 2017. He is also the co-founder of the All Things Comedy network, alongside fellow comic Bill Burr.

Amy Miller was one of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” comics, and has a Half Hour Special called Ham Mouth on Comedy Central. She is a paid regular at both the World Famous Comedy Store and The Comedy Cellar. As a brand new comic she was a breakout favorite in the final season of Last Comic Standing. She has a half hour comedy special on Epix’s Unprotected Sets and her Comedy Central Presents set has been viewed over 4 million times on Youtube and Facebook. Amy regularly opens for Tom Segura, Wanda Sykes, and several more of her comedy idols! She was also a featured comic on Viceland’s Flophouse. On Last Comic Standing, Keenen Ivory Wayans said she had one of the “fiercest jokes he had ever heard.” Originally from the East Bay, Amy found her comedy chops in Oakland. Her material is personal, political, and 100% authentic. The Laugh Button says “She found a wildly creative way to find empowerment while simultaneously sparking laughter” and Courting Comedy says “Miller juxtaposes an unassuming demeanor with unflinching assurance.”nnAmy’s debut album Solid Gold is available on Kill Rock Stars, and was named one of the top 10 comedy albums of 2016 by The Interrobang. Her sophomore album California King is available on Blonde Medicine Records. Described by LA Weekly as A Comic Who's got Big Ideas and Big Plans to go Big Places, Byron Bowers is a stand-up comedian and actor that was named by LA Weekly as a Comedy Act to Watch. He was also featured as a New Face at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.nnByron recently made his CBS late night debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. He also appears in much anticipated dramatic film Honey Boy which recently premiered in Sundance and was Bought by Amazon. He performed at the Famous Hollywood Bowl to 12,000 people next to Flying Lotus, Thundercat, and George Clinton as part of the sold-out Brainfeeder festival. He plays in the horror film KUSO which also premiered in Sundance IN 2018. His TV credits includes playing the character Meldrick in Showtime's hit show The CHI, season three of The Meltdown on Comedy Central, Funny as Hell in Montreal for HBO Canada and Vice Land TV. His festival performances this includes Oddball Comedy Fest, SXSW, Life is Beautiful, Austin City Limits, RIOT, SF Sketchfest and Blue Whale Comedy Festival.nnHis other late night appearances includes The Pete Holmes Show, followed by Jimmy Kimmel Live as well as being featured on The Eric Andre Show on Adult Swim, Comedy Central's This is Not Happening as well as Adam Devine's House Party, the reboot of BET's Comic View and MTV's Guy Code and in the first ever comedy show on the History Channel called Crossroads of History.
