THE INAUGURAL EMANCIPATION WEEKEND- 30TH ANNIVERSARY

3 Day Freedom Weekend Symposium

Emancipation 30 will be a three-day interactive symposium and creative celebration honoring Prince’s pursuit of freedom- personally, musically, culturally and commercially.  This inaugural event will feature special guests, industry experts, emerging creators, exhibits, displays, moderated panel discussions, historical footage, firsthand accounts from Prince’s collaborators, and thoughtfully curated music. Beyond commemorating the iconic Emancipation album’s 30th anniversary, Emancipation Weekend will take a deep-dive into Prince’s journey towards independence and his continuing influence on the music industry today and beyond.

All proposed speakers and participants are subject to availability and confirmation.
