Longturn Presents: Pleasurekraft

After a nearly two month hiatus, Longturn is back in Lawrenceville on Friday, June 12th, for an immersive night of groove-driven, peak-time techno with one of the industry's legends, Pleasurekraft! Pleasurekraft returns to Pittsburgh for the first time since 2019 when he played one of our Ian Brill Vault shows. He brings his deep, groove-heavy Cosmic Techno shaped as much by his background in film as by the dancefloor. With releases on Drumcode, Filth on Acid, Cocoon, and his own Kraftek imprint, we're expecting a big night for the techno fans. It's been six years. We're glad to have him back in the massive sound system and high quality production at Sidequest. 
   
Getting the night started is Borealis making their Longturn debut, followed by Coachelly making her long-awaited return, and rounding out the direct support slot is InnerSound's Sertac Sahin. All three acts are very capable of bringing some proper techno to the club to start our journeys for the evening. Bigger Venue, Bigger Sound. Don't miss our only event in June for a night of pumping peak time techno. 
 
Prices were slightly increased from last time to make up for the higher production costs in this space. We hope you'll continue to support us as we bring high-quality events and artists to Pittsburgh.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.

Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
