About The Original Room
This is where it all started. April 7th, 1972. This is the room where The Store became the home of American Comedy. Known for its intimate shows and late nights, The Original Room is the favorite space for super star comedians and after midnight heroes to test material, find their voices, and riff with the piano player.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.

Dave Helem
Dave Helem is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from Chicago, Illinois. He attributes his sense of humor to the fact that he believes there is something funny in every facet of human life. He has headlined numerous venues and has performed on tour in numerous cities with Hannibal Buress and Tony Rock. He has also toured with Doug Stanhope and Tracy Morgan. Dave successfully completed a two-month residency at the Woolly Mammoth Theater in Washington D.C. for Second City’s Black Side of the Moon, where he helped create and write the most successful selling show in the history of that theater. He was a writer for Comedy Central’s Hood Adjacent. Dave recently taped Laff Tracks (Tru TV) that will air in the fall of 2018. He is currently living in Los Angeles as a staff writer for the FOX sitcom REL.

Argus Hamilton
Meet the funniest topical comedian in America, the man Robin Williams once called “the Will Rogers of the Baby Boom.” Argus Hamilton’s daily column of jokes on the news, now carried in over 100 newspapers across the United States, is also read and heard by millions on the Internet and on radio stations across the country. Argus James Hamilton III is the son, grandson and great-grandson of Methodist ministers in the South. A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma and now based in Los Angeles, Argus brings an unusual perspective to the news from Washington and around the country. “I’m an English Monarchist and a Southern secessionist,” Argus says. “Let’s see Rush Limbaugh get to the right of that.” Argus performs at corporate, political and charity events around the country. He is regularly quoted by daily newspapers including The San Francisco Chronicle and the Los Angeles Times, by weekly business papers including the Orange County Business Journal, by Time magazine and by radio personalities including Paul Harvey. Argus was honored by Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry as the official comedian of the Oklahoma Centennial and appeared with the governor in the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade.

Amir K has been entertaining audiences for 10 years, performing live across the U.S. and on Television.nnHis fun, unique approach to storytelling brings audiences together through his improvisational talent, characters and charisma. Born in Iran and raised in Southern California, Amir offers a unique point of view shaped by his multi-cultural upbringing.nnAmir currently stars in the primetime CW reboot of MADtv and has been seen on Adam Devine’s House Party on Comedy Central, Comedy Knock Out on True TV, NBC’s Last Comic Standing and MTV’s Jerks with Cameras. Amir is best known for his stand-up comedy, but is also an accomplished actor. He won a SAG award for his role in the Oscar winning film Argo and recently starred in The FOX feature film The Pyramid opposite Denis O’Hare and Ashley Grace.nnAmir can be seen live headlining comedy clubs and theaters all over the U.S. as well as internationally.
Brian Holtzman
Brian Holtzman is a stand-up comic who performs regularly at Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership in Austin Texas, as well as The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. In 2023 Brian Holtzman released his stand-up comedy special #CANCELHOLTZMAN now streaming on YouTube. Brian Holtzman was also featured in the Showtime documentary The Comedy Store (2020). Brian Holtzman is originally from Long Island, New York, where he graduated from General Douglas MacArthur High School. After being honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, Holtzman moved to the Bay Area, where he began performing stand-up at the Holy City Zoo, the Other Cafe, the Punchline and other clubs throughout Northern California, where he became a favorite. His often-perplexed scenarios of everyday life, intertwined with his own neurotic behavior, are not to be missed by any serious aficionado of comedy. Holtzman has added actor to his resume, having appeared on My Wife and Kids, Mind of Mencia, Minding the Store, and in movies like Pauly Shore Is Dead, Sheep Man, Foolish, and Looking for Lenny. Brian is the host and creator of the DEAD AIR series of podcasts streaming everywhere now.
