About The Original Room
This is where it all started. April 7th, 1972. This is the room where The Store became the home of American Comedy. Known for its intimate shows and late nights, The Original Room is the favorite space for super star comedians and after midnight heroes to test material, find their voices, and riff with the piano player.

Because our shows are in such high demand, we are not able to hold seat after the show starts.
Ticket holders should be checked in or in line by showtime. Once the show has started, your seat may not be held. Any open seats will be made available to standby customers. All late arrivals or unclaimed tickets will be void and non-refundable.

Tom Papa
With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country finding success in film, TV, radio and podcasts as well as on the live stage. He is a regular guest on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and the late night TV shows.nnOn May 12, Tom released his second book, You’re Doing Great!: And Other Reasons To Stay Alive, a collection of essays on how people really live in modern America and what’s truly good and wonderful about our lives. The comedic book takes a hilarious look at the host of characters in our families with bizarre, inescapable behavior.nnOn February 4, Netflix premiered Tom’s fourth hour-long stand-up special, Tom Papa: You’re Doing Great! A hilarious rebuttal to our current cultural feeling of dread, Tom wants you to remember that you’re doing great; life isn’t perfect, it never will be, and that’s OK.nnTom’s new podcast, Breaking Bread with Tom Papa, premiered on May 12 and features Tom and his guest for an hour of eating, drinking and enjoying life. Listeners are invited to take a seat at the table as Tom and his guests celebrate the true meaning of breaking bread with insightful, revealing and always funny conversations.nnTom is host of the daily Netflix radio show, What A Joke With Papa And Fortune, on SiriusXM’s Netflix Channel, airing Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 AM – Noon ET.
Al Madrigal
Best known as the Senior Latino Correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Al Madrigal has made a name for himself in stand-up comedy, acting and as a writer. He stars in the movie Night School with Kevin Hart, The Way Back with Ben Affleck and the upcoming Morbius for SONY with Jared Leto. On the TV side, Al was a series regular and writer on Showtime’s I’m Dying Up Here and most recently worked as a writer, actor and producer on the CBS sitcom Broke. His critically acclaimed hour special, “Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy” premiered on Showtime in 2017. He is also the co-founder of the All Things Comedy network, alongside fellow comic Bill Burr.

Fahim Anwar is a Los Angeles-based standup comedian, actor and writer. Off the momentum of his one hour special THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS, The New York Times listed Fahim as a Most Promising Future Star. He's appeared on CONAN, LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. His recent FILM/TV credits include WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, NEIGHBORS, DRUNK HISTORY, CARMICHAEL SHOW and SUPERIOR DONUTS to name a few. Fahim served as head writer and starred on a sketch show special for Comedy Central with his comedy group (GOATFACE) which includes Hasan Minhaj from THE DAILY SHOW. Off the success of the sketch show special, Fahim was named by Variety Magazine as one of 2019 Comics to Watch, and was invited to be a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast as well as WTF with Marc Maron.

Asif Ali started his career as a club grown comic & improviser into becoming a heavily credited tv/film actor. He can be seen on the Emmy Nominated series Disney+ Marvel WandaVision, The Mandalorian, Netflix Bojack Horseman, & much more! Recently, Asif will be in the acclaimed feature Don’t Worry Darling w/ Olivia Wilde & Chris Pine as well as Amblin’s Easter Sunday. When he isn’t acting, Asif is touring with Jo Koy honing his craft in preparation for his comedy special. Standup is his first love & his bits have been featured on Comedy Central, Netflix, and FOX. Saul Trujillo is stand-up comedian with blue collar roots in Stockton, CA. His man-child sensibilities have been featured on Amazon’s Laugh After Dark and Comedy Central. His obscure observations on his own life will keep you scratching your head and laughing at the same time. Saul can be seen performing regularly all over Los Angeles.
Mo Mandel
Best known for making over 40 appearances on CHELSEA LATELY, and his own HOUR SPECIAL on AMAZON, Mo has made numerous appearances on CONAN, THE LATE LATE SHOW, has a half hour special on COMEDY CENTRAL, and is a recurring guest on popular podcasts such as ADAM CAROLLA, BERTCAST, YOUR MOM’S HOUSE, GUYS WE FUCKED, and THE FIGHTER AND THE KID. In the past, Mandel has also guest starred on such hit shows as MODERN FAMILY, CASTLE, HAPPY ENDINGS, and was one of the leads of NBC’S comedy FREE AGENTS, opposite Hank Azaria and Kathryn Hahn. Most recently, Mo created and hosted a special for THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL called SMALL TOWN THROWDOWN. He is also the creator of the hit series, COMEDY KNOCKOUT, which can be found on truTV and HBOMAX.
Zack Chapaloni
Zack’s distinctly original stories, filled with colorful characters and unexpected punchlines, have resonated with audiences of all backgrounds. As a storyteller, Zack shared one of his Moroccan family adventures on MTV’s Greatest Party Story Ever. As an actor, Zack has appeared in the Showtime series Shameless, as well as Night of the Living Karens, a viral comedy-horror series he created with comedian Richard Sarvate. Zack has performed standup comedy all over the country, and opened for some legendary names in the industry, including Tiffany Haddish, Dave Attell and the late great Norm Macdonald. You can catch Zack every week on Hesby Street, a comedy podcast he co-hosts with comedian Torio Van Grol.
