Halloween at Collinwood 2026

Come to Lyndhurst for our 2026 Dark Shadows Halloween. On October 31st, we welcome Kathryn Leigh Scott, author and actress, best known for playing "Maggie Evans" and "Josette DuPres" in the original Gothic television series Dark Shadows and the movie House of Dark Shadows (1970). Other special guests will be attending.

Kathryn and friends will be in the Welcome Center Pavilion from 10am to 4pm. Stop by and mingle with the actors and other Dark Shadows fans throughout the day! The time slots on these tickets are for entry to the mansion only.

Ticket holders will be able to explore the property, roam Lyndhurst Mansion, enjoy food and music in the landscape, mix and mingle with Kathryn Lee Scott and others, and pop into the Carriage Room in the Welcome Center to watch House of Dark Shadows playing throughout the day. This event will include a costume contest, so dress in your Dark Shadows best. Books and other items will be available to purchase on-site with the event and in our Welcome Center Gift Shop.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase on the property. The Captain Lawrence food truck and Jimmy’s Ice Cream will be at the Bowling Alley from 11 am to 4 pm, with the Altogether Band playing throughout the day. Geordanes of Irvington will also be at the Welcome Center for lunch purchases. Shuttle buses will be available to move people around the property.

These tickets include entry into the mansion, pavilion, and grounds. The last entry into the mansion will be at 4 pm, plan accordingly!

Museums for All:

Tickets for entry into the mansion are $5 each for you and your family with your EBT card!  This discounted admission is for up to 4 people per EBT card. Reserve your ticket online with the EBT/SNAP ticket designation.  You MUST present your EBT card at the Welcome Center when you check in. If you cannot present your card, you will be required to pay in full for the event.

Important Information, Please Read:

• Please be advised that the house has no elevator. 


• There are no guided tours during this event. 


• The last entry into the mansion is at 4 pm!


• A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 


• Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed. 


• Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.


• All ticket purchases are non-refundable.


• A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have an Event Ticket. 


• No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.
