Grace Campbell With McKinney And The Laurel Lowlifes

Grace Campbell

Hailing from West Virginia, Grace Campbell brings her unique charm to the music scene. Her captivating songwriting and magnetic personality have garnered her a dedicated fan base both locally and on social media.

Grace has transcended the Appalachian region with her music. She continues to grow her regional fanbase through live appearances, a strong social media presence, and the genuine connection she makes with her audience. Her live appearances have included working with artists such as: Kathy Mattea, The Plain White T’s, Melissa Etheridge, Kidd G, Philip Bowen, Tyler Braden, Avery Anna and Kassi Valazza.

Her debut album, “Bloom,” was released through Mon Hills Records on March 19th, 2024 across all streaming platforms. This 10-track collection of original music is a testament to Grace’s talent as a singer/songwriter and performer. It peaked at #32 on the iTunes Pop Charts.

“Bloom” showcases Grace’s evolution from a budding songwriter into a full-fledged artist, navigating the challenges of adolescence to the identity crises common in young adulthood. The album takes listeners on a journey through tales of young love, heartbreak, self-discovery, and ultimately, self-acceptance.

While her music is often categorized as folk, rock, alternative, and pop, it transcends genre boundaries with its originality and depth. Named the 2024 “Best Pop Artist in West Virginia,” as well as Women Who Rock’s Pittsburgh “Rising Star” Grace continues to astound and grow in her music and following. She was later named the Best Artist in West Virginia in 2025.

MCKINNEY

FIRST NAME MCKINNEY, LAST NAME MCKINNEY, BAND NAME MCKINNEY.

McKinney is a bass player and singer-songwriter. She spent her formative years in southern West Virginia where she literally LIVED inside a music school. Deeply incapable of leaving the Appalachian mountains, but needing an escape from her 6,000 person hometown, she landed right around the bend in Asheville, NC.

When McKinney isn’t on stage you might find her teaching music lessons at LEAF Global Arts, working shows at The Orange Peel, or at lock on the rugby pitch.

McKinney's music genre is about as fluid as the average Asheville resident's sexuality. Her Indie Pop sound is blended with influence from her blues singer mother, a BFA in Jazz, and the 8 year old version of herself that just wants to play classic rock. Although pinning down her genre may be hard, you can consistently expect sad lyrics. You will probably enjoy her lyricism if you are emotionally suppressed and enjoy listening to sad songs to make yourself feel better.

Laurel lowlifes are a five-member Appalachian Folk and Americana band based in Pittsburgh PA. Celebrated for their dynamic mix of raucous, foot stomping tunes and soul- stirring harmonies laced with a hint of country twang. Led by powerhouse vocalist Britt Haefeli and supported by Jack Hill (mandolin), David Powell (guitar), Dan Miller (upright bass) and Brenden Beaver (drums), they deliver high- energy performances that blend technical Americana roots with engaging folk storytelling. They’ve become a notable presence in the Pittsburgh music scene and continue to draw audiences with their tight arrangement and charismatic live shows
