Gothic Weekend 2026

Gothic Market weekend is back, this time spanning three days! Lyndhurst welcomes visitors to explore the wonders of this Gilded Age Mansion and the Gothic Market on their own during the festive Autumn season. The Market is a collection of Hudson Valley vendors selling an eclectic mix of spooky oddities, curated antiques, gothic jewelry, and witchy wares. Seasonal food offerings will also be available to satisfy your autumnal cravings in our Harvest Tasting Room in the Welcome Center.

Timed entry to the historic mansion allows guests to take in seasonal and spirited decorations as they stroll through this breathtaking landmark home. You will see the majestic entrance hall, reception room, parlor, library, sumptuous Victorian dining room, and second-floor art gallery decorated with autumnal trimmings for the season.

The Captain Lawrence food truck and Jimmy's Ice Cream will be down at the Bowling Alley from 11 am to 4 pm, where the Altogether Band will also be playing throughout the day.  Geordanes of Irvington will also be serving up lunch fare in the Welcome Center.

Last entry into the Mansion will be at 4 pm. If you have a 4 pm ticket, please arrive early to give yourself ample time to shop in the Gothic Market before your mansion entry.

• Please be advised that the house has no elevator. 


• There are no guided tours during this event. 


• The last entry into the mansion is at 4 pm!


• A limited number of tickets are available for each event, and events do sell out. 


• Some tickets may be available for purchase on-site, but these are not guaranteed. 


• Please arrive 15 minutes before the entry time on your ticket. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee it.


• All ticket purchases are non-refundable.


• A Grounds Pass is not needed if you already have an Event Ticket. 


• No large bags, backpacks or strollers allowed in the mansion.


• To best accommodate groups, including special needs, please contact us in advance to make reservations at 914-303-6844.  


• Please note: Market Passes are free for Members, but they must pre-register through the Member Registration page before their arrival. This does not include Mansion access.
