Ready to Roll? Here’s How to Get on the Grid!

The race is on—but first, you have to make the cut. We’re looking for the most creative, daring, and inspired builds to take over the track. With only 50 driver slots available for each category (Kids and Adults), competition for a starting position is fierce!

The Road to the Track

Think of your application as your entry into the official selection pool. Here is how you get from a sketch to the starting line:

  Step 1: Join the Pool. Submitting your application puts your name in the hat.

  Step 2: Check Your Inbox. After applying, we will email you specific instructions on how to submit your team’s concept and design for review.

  Step 3: The Selection. The 3D26 Team will hand-pick the top 50 teams from each category to officially participate.

  
  

Important: Your initial application is an entry into the selection pool, not a final registration or confirmation.

By joining the grid, you aren't just building a car—you’re building a better community. This year, Maverick has partnered with Decatur Youth Services, and a portion of your registration fee will directly benefit their vital summer programs.

Registration Fees (Once Selected):

Adult Team: $125 

Youth Team: $65
