DAN ALTANO

DAN ALTANO has carved a name for himself in stand-up by blending brutal honesty, sharp wit, and genuine heart into high-energy performances. Whether he’s reflecting on fatherhood, marriage, or the absurdities of everyday life, Dan delivers every punchline with a storyteller’s charm and a Jersey-born edge. Named a 2021 Breakout Artist by Carolines on Broadway, he headlines comedy clubs and theaters nationwide and was recently named National Comedic Host of the 2025 “Best Of” Awards.

His 2023 album, Stand-Up Dad, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and now plays in regular rotation on SiriusXM, and the special of the same name has been praised for its relatability and big laughs. Dan co-hosts the podcast Rank It!, created the interactive cooking and comedy show Dinner’s Ready Live, and has joined Demetri Martin, Fortune Feimster, and Eric Neumann on their national tours.

Dan knows the best nights start at the table, and Comix Roadhouse serves them up the same way: with a full plate before the laughs. The venue earned Connecticut Magazine’s 2026 Best of Connecticut statewide win for Best Casino Casual Dining, along with OpenTable’s 2026 Diners’ Choice Award, cementing its place as one of the region’s premier spots to eat, drink, and be entertained.
