Children's Book Week - Puppet Playtime Session 2

Calling all Wild Things, big and small! Help us Celebrate Children’s Book Week alongside the creative people at Spare Parts Puppet Theatre!

The City of Joondalup Libraries invites the public to join us for roaring rumpus with two puppet playtime workshops kicking off our Children’s Book Week Celebrations! The session is designed to nurture your little one’s creativity and love for storytelling, through the magic of Maurice Sendak’s classic, Where the Wild Things Are.

LISTEN: Gather round as the talented Spare Parts performers present the story in their unique performance style.

CREATE: Explore the story and its themes through creative play activities. Adults / caregivers are essential to this part of Puppet Playtime and at every session there will be something to create and take home to treasure.

PLAY: Engage in puppet play, making sounds and music, games, and other interactive play. Listen to the story retold with your creation in hand and see your child’s imagination soar! A true Symphony of Stories!

Cost $5.00. Bookings Essential.

Sessions suitable for children aged 3-6 years old.

Note: parents/carers of children under 12 years are required by library policy to remain in the building, supervising their children while they attend the event.
