Block Printing Workshop with Sunaina Bhalla

This master class explores how traditional block printing can be reimagined through experimentation and pattern play. With guidance from master artist Sunaina Bhalla, learn the fundamentals of traditional Indian hand block printing while working with a collection of intricate, hand-carved printing blocks. Begin the session by experimenting with color, composition, and pattern placement on paper before printing your own wearable 35" x 70" silk stole. No prior experience is required, and all materials are included. 

Small hand carved blocks and hand loomed tote bags will be available for sale directly from the artist with prices ranging between $7-20. Cash is preferred.
