Amanda Kingloff, The Art of Jewish Joy: Crafts and Activities for Celebration and Connection
In Conversation with Tracey Grant, Vice-Chair, 35th Edition of the Book Festival of the MJCCA
Author Talk, Q & A & Book Signing
Author and creator Amanda Kingloff is the creative mind behind ProjectKid, a brand devoted to helping families build imaginative and beautiful lives through hands-on creativity. In her new book, The Art of Jewish Joy, she teaches us how to cultivate mindfulness, joy, and connection with family and friends through Jewish holiday crafting.
In this unique guide, chapters are organized not by holiday, but by the core values each season teaches us (the Art of Self-Reflection, the Art of Openheartedness, the Art of Nurturing Nature), each bursting with color, whimsy, and inspiration. Discover the Jewish holidays and new ways to celebrate them with fun, beautiful, and easy-to-complete crafts for family, friends, and community to enjoy.
Kingloff will lead a fun Jewish craft: every guest will make and take home a beautiful, hand-crafted charm bracelet or necklace!
All crafting supplies are included in the ticket price!
