Synopsis: The bloody reign of the Tudors is in full swing across England, and the Tower of London does not want for guests to be next on the block. One of these prisoners (who was condemned on false charges) has a final request - a woman to marry so that his evil cousin will not inherit his estate at his death. Meanwhile, a plot to save his life, by disguising him as another has been hatched unbeknownst to him. Upon this scene a jester and his assistant arrive, with the assistant agreeing to marry the condemned man to gain money for her sick mother. The story that follows is a tale of love won, love lost, and love unknown as complications of every sort arise in the plot to save the condemned man. Will everyone end up happy or are some doomed for the axe man's blade?
