Drafts: the Musical is a coming of age new musical about music majors in a songwriting class. They are given a one word prompt and have to write a song with that prompt in 24 hours. This show features a singer/songwriter score about how music can help us express ourselves when words can’t. 

Tyler Manning (he/they) is over the moon excited to debut his musical that he’s been working on for 8 years. They are a rising junior at Western Connecticut State University majoring in Music Education. He hopes to teach music but also direct/music direct theater productions and inspire the next generation of theater. He has worked behind the scenes at Sharon Playhouse for two years assistant music directing and working in the audio department. He has also music directed a shortened version of 13: the Musical and Merrily We Roll Along at college.

Ben Goffredo is thrilled to be a producer of this incredible new musical! Ben is the founder of BIG Theatricals, an NYC-based production company that aims to create and curate high-quality live entertainment with an emphasis on new voices both on stage and off. He most recently produced a cabaret called “Boston to Broadway” at The Green Room 42. He is also a rising junior at Western Connecticut State University’s BFA Musical Theatre program. Select favorite performance credits include J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed (Press Box Theatre), Sonny/Teen Angel in Grease (The Paris Cabaret), various roles in the IMPACT TYA professional touring company (NCCA/Jean’s Playhouse), and Damien in Mean Girls (Wellesley Theatre Project), among many others. He will also be appearing on the upcoming concept album for this show in the role of Michael.
